ALS: Alva Long Speaks

ALS, better know as Lou Gehrig's, is a terminal disease which claims lives every day. My mother, Alva Long, faced a life with ALS with the strength and faith of a warrior Christian. She may not have liked her condition, but she knew that God had a reason for why she was in the shape she was in. She became a great testimony of how God can use a terrible situation for His good. My mother shared her faith with everyone she came in contact with. She was well loved by those around her, and she will never be forgotten.
