Friedrich Engels is a German politician, philosopher, historian and entrepreneur. One of the founders of Marxism. A friend and soul mate of Karl Marx and co-author of his works.In 1848, together with Karl Marx, he wrote the Communist Manifesto. In addition to this work, he himself and in collaboration (mainly with Marx) wrote a number of other works, and later financially supported Marx while he conducted research and wrote "Capital." After the death of Marx, Engels edited the second and third volumes. In addition, Engels organized Marx''s notes on theories of surplus value, which in 1905 Karl Kautsky published as the "fourth volume" of "Capital".
