Gregory the Theologian is a Christian leader, one of the three ecumenical teachers of the Church. St. Gregory the Theologian was a graduate and associate of St. Basil the Great. He is known and honored both in the Roman Catholic Church - Commemoration Day on January 2, and in the Orthodox Church - on February 7 and 12.
