This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Algebraic Informatics, CAI 2019, held in Nis, Serbia, in June/July 2019. The 20 revised papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 35 submissions. The papers present research at the intersection of theoretical computer science, algebra, and related areas.
