Akathist to Saint Irodion of Lainici

Did you know that Saint Irodion of Lainici is one of the Romanian holy hesychasts? He slept only three or four hours at night and spent all the rest of his time in prayer and prostrations. He was present at all the services in the church, which he attended with much spiritual joy, his lips always saying the prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, the sinner".
