It was a week that would cast the fourth largest city in the United States into the shadow of a hurricane, whose unceasing rains wrought havoc upon southeast Texas. But Houstonians were not lost in darkness as they stood together against the storm. An epic disaster the likes of Hurricane Harvey can be best understood by the individual histories, with the tales that will be told to families for generations to come.
