After Darkness Comes The Light, is based on interviews with people in different established spheres of society. Some people are public and some are unofficial, who inspire with their stories of their driving forces and how they overcome obstacles in the way of achieving their skills. We all have certainly gone through difficulty in our lives that can be related to the “darkness”, and through our driving forces we have taken ourselves to the “light”. Today, many people experiences hopelessness, injustice and destructiveness. An invisible exclusion permeates society where many people are isolated from daring to believe in their dreams and to pursue their ambitions. Every person regardless of background or experience has a unique story that we all can be inspired by. Breaking prejudice, being proud of ones identity and ones background, is something that is emphasized as positive in the book.
