"Aeneid (extracts)" - is a work by the famous ancient Roman poet Virgil (70 - 19b.c). This is an unfinished patriotic epos, which consists of 12 books, written between the years of 29-19. Vergil started working on this plot because emperor August asked him to do that in order to awake in Romans the national proud by using the legends about the great fates of their ancestors.
