This volume contains eight chapters that detail advances in sociology research. Chapter One provides relevant information on pregnancies from rape/incest during the last decade, precocious puberty, and teenage/adolescent pregnancy. Chapter Two discusses reproductive health awareness of women and children Chapter Three presents various initiatives that the government of India has enacted for the safety of women and children. Chapter Four examines a study of non-financial employment commitment in Israel. Chapter Five investigates if unskilled immigrants negatively impact the employment of native Canadian youths. Chapter Six explores various strategies for empowering non-profits, including building capacity, developing programs and services, leveraging technology and data, and engaging stakeholders. Chapter Seven discusses ICTs and social policy in Greece. Lastly, Chapter Eight explores and tracks the targeting of destructive behavior, such as Machiavellianism, among university students.
