Adolescents face countless challenges as they make the transition to adult care structures, whether organic, psychological, social, academic or professional.This transition from childhood to adulthood is a crucial point in the adolescent's journey, and requires the involvement of all those involved to ensure its success. It is therefore vital to establish a protocol for the transition to adult endocrinology structures, and to prepare patients sufficiently both somatically and psychologically. This will enable them to manage their diabetes more effectively and enjoy a better quality of life.
