Adolescents with Arthritis

The delimitation of the concept of health as a human process on the basis of Psychoneuroimmunology and the exploration of its expressions allows us to optimize the conditions for a better health and educational attention to the new generations. Our epistemological approach to health is based on the belief that man is a dual reality (psyche - soma). The argumentative logic that accompanies this approach is that health is the product of the optimal functioning of the parts of the organism. During the 20th century, efforts were made to overcome this view, such as the anthropological and psychosomatic approach, which advanced working hypotheses involving the conception of a man acting as an anthropological, biological, social, historical and psychological totality.
