Accounting Information System and Financial Reporting Quality

Most of the studies have been conducted outside Sri Lanka, where research on accounting information system is seriously lacking. The gaps so highlighted call for further research. Therefore, this study sought to bridge these gaps and add to the body of knowledge in this significant area of accounting and finance by providing empirical evidence on the impact of accounting information systems and financial reporting quality, in banking sector in Colombo district, Sri Lanka.
