About Face

This is the autobiography of David Hackworth - America's most decorated living soldier. In this book the author describes his participation in many of the major Cold War flashpoints, from Korea to the Berlin Wall, from the Cuban Missile Crisis to six years in Vietnam. At the height of the Vietnam war he conducted an explosive live-television denouncement of the army's leadership in Vietnam which brought about the end of his military career.
