"A Trace Through Time" is an American history book that follows a family line of descent for 400 years. It starts in 1632 with a 15-year-old indentured servant named John Whipple who boards the ship Lyon on a life changing journey from England to the Massachusetts Bay Colony. As a line of this family flows westward with the expansion of America, the family genealogy and the historical events surrounding them are woven together in an epic saga.
