A New Alice in the Old Wonderland

Thirty-five years after Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (writing under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll) first penned Alice in Wonderland, Anna M. Richards published a companion work, A New Alice in the Old Wonderland. In it, a different girl -- also conveniently named Alice -- yearns to visit the Wonderland of which she has read, and in her cagerness, she finds a way.

There she meets the Cheshire Cat, has tea with the Mad Hatter, and visits all our old friends as well as new ones in Wonderland. It's a charming companion book, accented by the author's more than capable drawings. All sixty-seven of the original illustrations are included in this edition.
