A Moment of Passion

"A Moment of Passion," is a Romance Novel, followed by the sci-fi sequel, "Whispers from the Grave." A Moment of Passion is about a young black woman named Melinda Saxton, who lived in Oakville Kentucky in the 60's. She had a light complexion, leaving many people to think she was white. Melinda had an astounding beauty, with long back hair that extended to her waist. She would captivate both men and women. Because of her beautiful appearance, most women envied her. As a teenager she was raped by a man she had become fond of. All she wanted was everlasting love. What she got was one bad relationship after the other. There are lies, secrets, and deceit in the novel, along with family issues. A devastating death in the novel horrified the community as well as several neighboring towns.
