A Guide to Club Law and Practice

This book is for those who become involved in a club, whether as a member or as someone who is elected to be a member of the Committee which runs the club. It is intended to provide a handbook or guide for such people to help them in their role of running the club.

The focus of this book is the potential liability which club members may incur in the course of running the club. Since, too, the core of a club is its constitution and rules, there is much emphasis on the rules.

The book is divided into four chapters:
(1) The Club;
(2) The Club and its Members;
(3) The Management of the Club; and
(4) The Club and Third Parties.
