The essays in this book are about my hometown, Norwich, NY; my unfriendly trombone; my sweet Mom; my love for sports; an old house with too much water; my relationships with some charming and weird people; a crazy job and an immensely satisfying job; my version of poverty; discovering my kidney disease and the subsequent years on dialysis. It also includes short stories about a wandering Santa, excellent bowlers, and runaway celebrities. The book concludes with some fun word play and a few timed writings.
