A Few Hundred Original Poetic Monologues

This is a collection of poetic interior monologues delivered in a variety of voices, dealing with politics, race, economics, science, psychology, history, art, philosophy, sex, vocations, avocations, sports, etc. These eclectic speakers do not necessarily reflect the author's personal ideas on these subjects. The self-nominated Pulitzer Prize competitor thinks that this is his best work yet in the context of four earlier poetic collections and one play. Most of the poems are written in a traditional form (i.e. sonnet), but there are others in blank verse or free verse.
