A Critical Discourse Analysis of American Press

The present study is a Critical Discourse Analysis of media discourse, specifically the American newspapers The New York Times Los Angeles times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal that deal with the Popular Mobilisation Forces and Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Because of the subjectivity of media in delivering news, the present study attempts to shed light on the American press in dealing with the Popular Mobilisation Forces and ISIS.
