Wastelands and Planning For Development

This book tries to assess the typology and extension of Wastelands in Jaipur district of Rajasthan. It identifies various environmental and anthropogenic factors which may be responsible for the formation of different types of Wastelands Also it suggests suitable remedies for the reclamation of each type of Wasteland along with socially and economically appropriate technology for the Wasteland development. The economics of Wasteland reclamation/development through an input-output balance analysis has been assessed as well.
