Translation of the Four Gospels

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The convent of St. Katharine on Mount Sinai stands on the barren granite rocks of a narrow desert valley 4500 feet above the level of the Red Sea, and some 2800 feet below the summit of J ebel Mousa, on whose precipitous side it rests. A community of monks dwelt there from a very early period.
