Reflections of Life

This book is a reminder for family, friends, and all who read it, of a special love and bond that this author shared with others through God's blessings. Her poems are drawn from family, friends, and memories throughout her life. She was privileged to have had three of her poems chosen to be published on separate occasions and in different books during the past few years. All three of these poems are included in this book. One of the books entitled "e;Stars in Our Hearts,"e; published her poem, "e;Where Have the Years Gone, My Son."e; She wrote "e;Thru a Soldier's Eyes"e; for her brothers while they were serving in Vietnam. However, there are six poems in the book that have been rewritten, based on papers given her from her brother, SSgt. John W. Atkinson, written on his thoughts, events, and prayers while he was serving in Vietnam. Together, they have rewritten them in a more poetry-like form for the book. She wishes to include these six poems, especially, in honor of her brother, SSgt Atkinson, as well as Alvin Atkinson, their older brother, who also served and to honor all of the soldiers, who served, fought, and died in Vietnam or any war. It is this author's wish that each one who reads this book receives a blessing from it and enjoys it as much as she enjoyed writing it. God bless you all.
