Radical Rest

There is a reservoir of available time, wisdom, and finances residing with the senior citizens of this world. Baby boomers have time on their hands, lifetimes of experience, and hold most of the wealth. Yet, many are unhappy, fearful, and unfulfilled. Churches and ministries need their support in a variety of ways. Their families need to see them as confident and secure leaders living for eternity. Radical Rest provides a unique method of walking the retired or soon to be retired Christian through the retirement process. By combining everyday language and concepts with Scripture and the author's experiences and insights, the reader is guided away from worldly concepts and towards biblical truth. The phrase "e;bucket list"e; is redefined in the light of eternity. Biblical rest is illustrated with clarity and emphasized appropriately for those of us facing our last decades. This is a call to that generation to reassess their priorities and learn to completely rest in God so they can fearlessly and effectively stand in the gap against the crumbling culture.
