U.S. GOVERNMENT NARRATIVE CONTROL VERSUS NEW EVIDENCEThis book examines the sociological, psychological and official theories as given by the government and military of the UFO phenomenon. Social constructionism reveals that the labelling processes used by authority to classify those who believe in or claim to have witnessed UFO-related events as deviants is grossly distorted and is misused by authority to perpetuate the value of its own narratives. Further, the view that such people are mentally abnormal or show strange personality characteristics has, according to some of the serious scientific papers referenced in this book, been shown to be totally incorrect. This view is supported by certain psychiatrists and analysts. A number of scientists and government spokespersons dispute the traditional extra-terrestrial paradigm and US military figures have now gone on public record to admit there has been a long-standing cover-up. The US Government is now conducting special hearings in Washington. ABOUT THE AUTHORA. J. Greenhalgh has spent several decades researching the UFO phenomenon.
