Promoting a Child Development and Learning System in Haiti Amidst Conflict and Crises

This edited volume chronicles the University of Notre Dame’s efforts to promote child development and learning systems amidst conflict and crises in Haiti throughout the last eighteen years. The book is organized chronologically, beginning with Notre Dame's earliest engagement with the Catholic Church in Haiti, to its most recent initiatives. Along the way, it weaves together the evolution of education systems with qualitative and quantitative evidence from improvement science research and randomized controlled trials, offering both historical perspective and data-driven insights.
