The character of Lickit has been given over-exaggerated facial expressions in order to accentuate 16 different emotions he feels throughout the story. The various colours Lickit turns also reflect common colour/emotion associations (eg. blue for Sadness, red for anger, etc.) The different fonts used have also been selected to help identify the meaning of each emotion.
