Lessons Learned From My Homeschool Day

Homeschooling was not in my plan when I walked down the aisle nor was it my plan when I walked across the stage to receive my Bachelor's degree (in Psychology not Education). Nope, homeschooling was not in my plans at all. So when faced with this decision to homeschool, my immediate response was, ';NO!' As my oldest approached five and as each academic door my husband and I wanted, closed, we were left with a choice that would change our lives forever. Little did I know at the time, this unexpected journey was going to be more for me and probably less for my children.
