In December 2017, author Janie Shelton was diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. After six months of intensive chemotherapy, she believed she was cancer-free. Then in 2021, her cancer returned with a vengeance. Always an optimist, she fought her second fight against the odds while undergoing CAR T-cell therapy. Janie's cancer is now in remission.
