History for the IB Diploma: The Cold War

A series of five books that are divided into thematic sections, following the IB syllabus structure, and are written in clear, accessible English. The content is tailored to the requirements and assessment objectives of the IB syllabus and provides opportunities for students to make comparisons between different regions and time periods. Detailed primary and secondary sources develop students' analytical skill and a historiographical approach introduces them to the key historical debates. There is extensive exam practice with Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam-style questions at the end of each chapter and in a separate chapter at the end of the book. There are frequent links to Theory of Knowledge concepts to stimulate thought and discussion.
