From Conflict to Hope

This book's content comes out of a consultation for BMB church leaders from North Africa, the Middle East, and Iran. The consultation provided a safe place to address conflict from their lived experiences associated with cultural patterns of miscommunication, shame, leadership, and mediation. There were honest discussions about what it looks like to follow Christ and the challenges involved in cutting a new path that will not be understood by the majority of the people. The attendees of the consultation invite the body of Christ to join them in the discussion as they navigate the complexities of breaking free from religious and cultural strongholds that besets the church from an Islamic heritage. This book presents daring and honest material to a wider audience in the hope and expectation that it will contribute to the development of healthy, vibrant fellowships in many contexts.
