Effective Parenting

One major undoing of modern civilized society is an abounding generation of untrained children. This trend did not just start, but has been on for some time now. Home training is a moral training by which such virtues as honesty, diligence, respect for elders and also some abilities cum skills - such as care of the body, cooking etc. are inculcated into children. Do not use love as an excuse for not disciplining your children. If you do not discipline them, there will be trouble down the line. It is one thing to be corrected and it is another thing to take the correction. Parenting is about raising children. There are several responsibilities and activities involved in it. These can both interesting and challenging. It is one thing to be a father or a mother but its another thing to be a parent.
