1874, Northern England... THERE is something unspeakably foul, something indescribably malevolent lurking amid the seemingly idyllic countryside of Lowerbrook. Something in human form, something abominable with an insatiable hunger and unquenchable thirst for human flesh and blood. Its lair is a forest where many a soul has been swallowed up, never to be seen or heard from again.
