Diagnosis Of Plant Viruses And Allied Pathogens

For the past 35 years I have been working on viruses diseases of plants, the characterization of associated viruses, their detection by biological, serological and molecular techniques. After 2005, it was my privilege to offer short and long courses (group and hands-on training) on plant viruses, their characterization and development of diagnostics. These courses were provided to university teachers, research organizations, Government officials, senior professors and Quarantine scientists. During these trainings, most of the trainee scientists desired that a compilation with detail protocols should be developed. With teaching, research and trainees requirement in mind, this book has been written to provide detail protocols of each and every experiment related to plant virology based on the experience, I had gained working on plant virology.
