Deontological Ethics

In this first of a series of course books, Peter Baron dissects the theories of Kant and Natural law, explaining how the worldview shaped the theory and how the implications of each theory work out when facing ethical dilemmas. The logic of each theory is explored with care in order to highlight the confusions that can arise from an over-generalised approach to both theories. The aim is to show how deontology can still be useful as a practical guide to life in the modern era.
