America's Afghanistan War

The study attempts to look at the United States response to the various developments and challenges of Afghanistan with a view to understand the dynamics of survival and relative failure of this land-locked country. Focuses on the American reaction to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in December 1979, and elaborates on the process of American decision-making. It will best serve purposes to the International Affairs studies and scholars.
