GETTING TO KNOW RUSSIANS: A TEXTBOOK ON THE INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION AND CULTURE OF SPEECH

The purpose of the manual is to acquaint foreigners with the norms of speech and behavior of the Russians in the typical situations of oral communication, as well as to tell them about the customs and the cultural traditions of the Russians.

The textbook is designed for the students studying at the departments of the Russian language at the foreign universities,for those studying Russian as a foreign language, and for the students of the preparatory departments of the Russian universities. The Russian language proficiency of these students must be B1-B2. The manual may also be of help to the foreigners, who are interested in the issues of the intercultural communication and the adjustment to the Russian cultural environment.
