Zhonghua Literacy Textbooks for Children (Reprinted Version) 4 Volumes in Total

The textbooks were a set of children teaching materials published in 1950s by Hong Kong Zhonghua Book Company. The set includes 4 volumes. About 180 words are selected for the children in kindergartens. The children could learn to read as per the illustrating pictures. It witnesses the original intention that the Book Company focuses on the folk education and practices "e;developing and expanding Chinese culture and popularizing civil wisdom education"e; from the preschool educational level. The reprint and publication of the books could not only preserve the original appearance of the teaching materials for children, the readers also could find out the child interest contained in the daily things in Hong Kong in 1950s through the illustrations.
