Saxon is 40 years old and has been enjoying the peaceful and quiet of his life. Never married and without children, Saxon enjoys living his life in isolation out in the country. When his 72-year-old mother Chanel's health begins to fail, Saxon's family advocates that he needs to take over her care. Saxon is unsympathetic to his mother who is now unable to walk or care for herself. Astonished by the discovery of Saxon's black heart for his own mother, they are troubled to discover that Saxon has not spoken to Chanel in over fifteen years.
