You are the poets

Poetry is an integral part of his life; if you will, you could even say that poetry and literature are his life. He is Amin Al-Rihani, who wanted to give our poets lessons in poetry, to be a beacon that illuminates their dark path. He presented them with twenty-four commandments. If poets adhere to them, Arabic poetry will proceed on the path of modernity. He discussed several poetic issues, including the status of poetry in our country. He also studied the differences between the philosopher and the poet, emphasizing their convergence, citing examples of a number of poet-philosophers and poet-philosophers. Finally, the author discusses the futility of some poetic themes, such as crying and wailing, in modern Arabic poetry for two reasons: first, it is an imitation of ancient poets, and second, it makes it easier for colonizers to occupy our country. His book was a cry of protest against the weeping, humiliating literature, and it had many repercussions.
