Emily Bronte''s novel "Wuthering Heights" is considered one of the English social novels that are still read to this day, as the novel derives its permanence from its delving into the human soul, and its presentation of eternal existential conflicts that will continue with the survival of man. It is the only novel by Emily Brontë; It was first published in 1847 AD under the pseudonym Ellis Bell. The novel reveals several clashes between romance and society, between poverty and wealth, and between loss and the desire for revenge.
