Has anyone ever told you that you were worthless, lazy or would never amount to anything? Human beings don't often realize the power of their words, but they are very powerful indeed. At times, our words can unintentionally scar people we love; other times, the attack is intentional. Even though, deep inside, we know these sharp words aren't true, it can be very hard not to internalize them. "You are worthless," quickly becomes, "I am worthless," and the more we think that way, the more likely we are to believe it. Regardless of what people say, the Bible tells us over and over again what God thinks of us, and His thoughts are full of love and hope. Learning to internalize these truths can undo the damage of negative talk and help us understand our true worth. That's what this book strives to do - undo the negative thinking we've picked up over time and replace it with healing promises from the Word. Jim is a new author who felt compelled to write a book documenting verses in the bible that confirm how much he and every one of us is loved by our Heavenly Father.
