Wishing To Go Home

I have written this book for when I grow old; for when I need help, can no longer drive, manage my money, shop, cook, clean, or remember to eat and shower. It is for my children and grandchildren. It is for all my friends whose parents are ageing and who want to know what to do for the best; knowing there is no time to waste. What if they have a stroke tomorrow and cannot speak, write, or remember. It is for every great-grandparent, grandparent, parent, child, niece, nephew, grand-child, great grand-child, aunts and uncles and cousins. And it is for every single nurse caring for the aged, whether you are the Director, assistant, the care worker, the bus driver, kitchen hand or cleaning lady. It is to provide you all with some understanding of those affected by memory loss / dementia and who cannot communicate normally with you. I want to give you some insight into some behavioural changes that may occur because of memory loss or dementia and to offer some tips for you to help you deal with the illness.
