I created this picture book for my son when his first cat died very unexpectedly. He was heartbroken. Given he was only a few years old at that time, I wanted to create a very simple way for him to see that even when we lose pets (and people) we love, they are always with us in some way .... sadness and loss are a part of life but we can also find joy in knowing we stay connected forever through our love. I hadn't planned to publish this book for anyone else but when the illustrator I worked with to bring my idea for him to life asked me if i wanted the file prepped for Amazon publication, I thought why not If your child has lost a pet recently and you come across this title by any chance, I hope the story and message inside brings them peace.
