Who Writes the Rules examines the origins of the Universe and life. It questions the significance of one intelligent species occupying a tiny slice of time and space in an unimaginably large Universe.

At a time when humanity is destroying the environment for all life on Earth, and threats of nuclear war seem to be creeping over the horizon, the novel is written to provide food for thought about the underlying factors which drive people to behave in a destructive and negative manner without any consideration for the future impact of this.
