Who Is Stronger?

A curious boy asks his mother about strength and receives a story insteadof a clear answer. The story is about a girl who goes out to play with herfriends. While walking a familiar path, her simple journey to town takes anunexpected turn when she meets some unusual beings, which tell her that shemust pass an unexpected test: choose the strongest one of them, but eachof them offers a different kind of strength. With the help of her puppy, shelearns that strength manifests in many forms and that it is not always visible.She must look beyond appearances to discern which of them would have themost power. That choice, once made, offends the rest of the creatures; eachof them claimed unparalleled strength. She realizes that true strength maynot be what it seems.The story comes with activities: educational exercises for enhancing languageskills and tasks such as arranging words to form grammatically correct sentences(provided vocabulary).
