But on this day, something was terribly wrong. As he navigated the bank, his fishing gear slung over his shoulder, he noticed something out of place. A shape caught in the slow-moving current. At first, he thought it was debris, perhaps tangled branches or discarded trash. But as he drew closer, his heart sank.It wasn't debris. It was the body of a young girl, floating face down in the river, her pale skin barely visible through the murky earthen brown water.The fisherman froze, the reality of what he was seeing crashing over him in waves.
