Elisabeth Raffauf is a psychologist who works in private practice in Cologne, Germany. She helped develop an educational series for children's radio and hosted a children's news program. She has also written parenting guides and educational books.

Günther Jakobs is an illustrator of children's and young adult books. He studied philosophy and graphic design with a focus on illustration.
