When Time Slips Away

The nature of poetry; A constant question and a basic idea that preoccupies the collection "It''s Too Late" by the poet Muhammad Abu Zaid, starting from the form and content, passing through the relationship of poetry to the world that is about to collapse, and ending with the poet himself confronting his poem, where they exchange the question: "What''s next?" Perhaps Muhammad Abu Zaid is not thinking about reforming the "poetic universe." Rather, he is thinking about his own "world." He turns the poem into a mined artistic question that takes shape in his poem, in line with his human experience and his personal questions, which passed through stages until it went beyond the stage of staring at the world as a "tragedy," reaching a state of light buoyancy, reflected in the language he uses and the vision he presents, while his most important question remains constant: What is poetry?
