WHAT'S REALLY HOOD is comprised of five short stories written by Wahida Clark, Victor L. Martin, Bonta, Shawn 'Jihad' Trump, and LaShonda Teague. Each 'hood' tale tells a very different story about life in the streets. Black Is Blue by Victor L. Martin delves into the life of a corporate woman who falls in love with a thug and finds out how easy it is to stray from the straight and narrow; Wiz finds out just how powerful a woman can be in The P is Free by LaShonda Teague; neighbourhood gang rivalries take on a whole new meaning in The Last Laugh by Bonta; loyalty is put to the test in the edgy All for Nothing by Shawn "Jihad" Trump; and a woman scorned takes it to the ultimate level in Wahida Clark's Makin' Endz Meet.
